The “Al -Hajj gifts” exhibition in the Makkah Chamber highlights the creativity of Saudi craftsmen

The activities of the Nesk Gifts Exhibition “Al -Hajj”, “Hij”, held under the slogan “Soufhkar” at the Makkah Exhibition and Events Center Center, witnessed a distinguished participation of Saudi craftsmen and craftsmen in various and varied industries.
Participants presented their manual production that reflects the authentic Saudi heritage, including the gold and jewelry manufacturer, the pooling industry, the engraving on wood, the formation of pottery, the rings industry, the refinement of gemstones, aesthetic artistic sculptures, in addition to the art of calligraphy and the plastic drawing, the men’s and heritage fashion industry, and manual embroidery that depends on accurate skills in sewing and decorating fabrics, Handicrafts inspired by the local environment.
The exhibition is a unique platform for traditional handicrafts, by supporting craftsmen economically, enabling them to market their products, and enhancing awareness of the importance of handicrafts as part of the Saudi cultural heritage; To ensure its continuity and transfer to future generations.

One of the participants in the refining of the rings, Nawaf Hussein Al -Lahibi, explained that he displays handicrafts inspired by the local environment, including the risk industry and the refinement of gemstones inside and their formation with creative artistic artistic drawings that are manually made with high accuracy and quality, and their development to include modern designs commensurate with the market requirements.
He stressed that the exhibition is a valuable opportunity to highlight the talents of Saudi craftsmen and their individual skills that are acquired through years of practice and training, and it appears in every manual product the unique creative and aesthetic value, and the exhibition reflects the commitment of the Makkah Chamber to develop the craft sector according to the national strategy of culture derived from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the exhibition seeks to be a distinctive cultural event every year.
