المملكة: Control plans to ensure the readiness of slaughterhouses and public benefit markets

The Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Rania Governorate, represented by the Department of Markets and Slaughtering of its field control. And that is in the context of continuous and accelerating preparations for the Hajj season this year 1446 AH.

Preparations for the Hajj season

These tours aim to ensure the fullness of slaughterhouses and public benefit markets in the governorate, in a manner that ensures the provision of health and safe services to citizens and residents, and is compatible with the required requirements during this important period.
These intensive tours, which come with the approaching Hajj season, focused on a careful follow -up to apply the highest health and environmental standards approved within the slaughterhouses.
The inspections included ensuring the readiness of all the equipment and tools used, as well as the efficiency and willingness of its workers, while providing the necessary directions and guidance for them with the aim of raising the efficiency of operating performance and providing a work environment characterized by the utmost degree of hygiene and professional safety.

Enhancing the quality of the services provided

In this context, the director of the Ministry’s office in Renny Governorate, Mohamed Al -Subaie, explained that these supervisory tours come within the operational plans of the office, which aim mainly to enhance the quality of the services provided.
Al -Subaie stressed the maximum importance of strict adherence to health standards and environmental requirements in all slaughterhouses and approved slaughter points, in order to ensure the safety of meat and their suitability for human consumption, and to protect consumer health.
Al -Subaie stressed that the supervisory teams of the office will continue their regulatory work extensively and continuously throughout the Hajj season.
He added that the scope of follow -up and inspection will not only be limited to slaughterhouses, but will also include other public benefit markets in the governorate, with the aim of effectively contributing to creating a healthy and safe environment for all, in line with the ministry’s directives to ensure food safety during this period that witnesses an increase in demand and consumption.
