"Zayed Upper" The first version of "The skills of the owners of determination 2025"

Abu Dhabi, May 19 / WAM / Today, the Zayed Upper Foundation for People of Determination launched the first edition of the “Skills of Defall Skills 2025”, with the participation of 137 students from the various centers of the Foundation in Abu Dhabi, Al -Ain and Al -Dhafra, and its activities will continue over four days from 19 to 22 May.
This competition is the first of its kind at the level of the institution, and aims to enhance professional qualification and societal integration of people with determination within environments that simulate the actual labor market.
Participants are divided between 115 students in Abu Dhabi for students of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dalma, and 22 at the Ghayathi Center for students of the Foundation’s centers in the Al Dhafra region, all of whom are employees of a diploma program to prepare for the labor market approved by the Ministry of Education – Al -Qatat Center, which equals the second professional level certificate “preparatory”.
The program aims to rehabilitate students from the owners of determination, who are over the age of 18, to integrate into real work environments in line with the UAE strategies in investing in human capital.
The competition includes practical assessments in two main skills: the application of first aid and the preparation of coffee, through scenarios that mimic the positions of daily life, with the aim of measuring students’ efficiency in applying acquired skills, and enhancing their readiness and their confidence to engage in the labor market.
His Excellency Abdullah Abdel -Ali Al -Humaidan, Secretary -General of the Zayed Upper Foundation, said that the competition represents an important station within the efforts of the Foundation to provide a stimulating environment that allows people of determination to highlight their capabilities, pointing out that the launch of this competition is a strategic step that reflects the Foundation’s commitment to creating qualitative initiatives that enhance the chances of people with empowerment and professional integration.
Al -Humaidan affirmed the keenness to develop this initiative annually in cooperation with their partners, to become a permanent effectiveness that contributes to building a sustainable professional future for people of determination, and translates the directions of the rational leadership towards a comprehensive and balanced society that provides equal opportunities for all.
The engineer, Khawla Al -Dahmani, the general supervisor of the competition, explained that the preparations included intense training under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team, focused on developing individual skills, building confidence, and the ability to work under pressure, and indicated that the evaluation criteria were unified to ensure justice and objectivity through coordination meetings and training residents on realistic scenarios.
The competition is supported by a number of partners, including the Design for Advertising and Publishing, Arab Coffee shops, and the Ouish Motchi Café, who provided the competition equipment, logistical support and specialized training.
Mona Amer Al -Amri, a professional qualification coach in Al Ain, emphasized the development of the skills of students with determination in various practical and professional aspects, with a focus on enhancing self -confidence, commitment, and working in the team’s spirit, noting that students have shown great enthusiasm and a high response to training, which reflects their willingness to participate effectively in the next competition.
She said that the competition represents a real opportunity for students to highlight their capabilities and express their aspirations, as it enables them to interact with realistic work environments, which contributes directly to their effective integration into the labor market.
Salma Hamad Hamad Al -Mansouri pointed out a first professional qualification coach in the Foundation in Abu Dhabi that they trained a group of students in preparation for participating in the competition, as part of continuous efforts aimed at developing students’ skills, enhancing their practical capabilities, and preparing them to join the labor market with confidence and efficiency.
She emphasized that this initiative is a real opportunity for students to acquire experiences, and to engage in competitive environments that enhance their societal integration, and open broad horizons for them to participate in external forums.
