Ali Lajj Al -Mansouri, Director of the UAE Pavilion in the Tantan Cultural season, confirmed in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the pavilion, which was supervised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, provided an ideal platform for exchanging cultures, and was distinguished by diversity and comprehensiveness, as it included, along with the activities related to the state heritage, a number of distinguished Moroccan heritage competitions, such as: “The best desert tent”, and “games The popularity “and” Moroccan desert cooking “, in addition to Nabatiyah and Hassania poetry evenings that brought poets from the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco.
He explained that the participation of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority in the season came out of its keenness to highlight the Emirati heritage and prevention, and to promote it in international forums, as well as a review of various elements of the moral heritage listed on the UNESCO list.
He pointed out that the praise of a number of members of diplomatic missions and UNESCO accredited in Morocco in the UAE pavilion in the Tantan season, confirms that the UAE is a leading global model in cultural and heritage diversity, contributed to enriching the activities of the season.
The UAE is keen on periodic participation in the Tantan season, which was included by UNESCO in 2008 as part of the representative list of the infinite cultural heritage of humanity, and is an inspiring platform for cultural dialogue between different peoples, and an opportunity to express heritage aspects and joint civilizational divisions embodied in the Sahrawi popular culture.
