المملكة: “Civilization communication” discusses the importance of integrity in fighting corruption

The evening hosted the academy, Dr. Najwa Al -Mutairi, and the Integrity Protection Adviser Abdul Mohsen Al -Duwaisi, while the dialogue was conducted by Dr. Noha Al -Waddani.
Self -censorship
At the beginning of her speech, Dr. Najwa Al -Mutairi stressed the pivotal role of self -control in fighting corruption and achieving the sustainable development goals.
She said that educational institutions play a very important role in enhancing the values of integrity by spreading a culture of fighting corruption in all its forms and forms in the educational community.
She added that this includes awareness of the concepts of transparency, enhancing the values of integrity, and establishing positive practices for students at various levels of study, in addition to consolidating the values of good citizenship in them.
Laws and regulations
While Abdul Mohsen Al -Duwaisi dealt with the importance of instilling the concept of integrity in the hearts of young people to build a strong personality with high ethics. He defined corruption as any departure from the laws, regulations and regulations in force in order to achieve personal interests.
Al -Duwaisi stressed that corruption constitutes a global challenge that negatively affects economies and societies, as it causes waste of resources and undermines development efforts, as well as reducing confidence in both governmental and private institutions.
The meeting discussed the definition of corruption and its serious repercussions on society, the concept of integrity and its fundamental importance in building a strong and moral personality for individuals.
The attendees touched on the importance of self -censorship as an effective tool in combating corruption and advancing development, and discussed ways to enhance integrity in the work environment and society in general, and the role of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in supporting the efforts to fight corruption and consolidate the principles of integrity and transparency.
