Dubai Industrial City attracts investments at 1.7 billion dirhams within 12 months

Abu Dhabi, May 20/ WAM/ Dubai Industrial City attracted total investments of a value that exceeded 1.7 billion dirhams within vital economic sectors, including food, drinks, heavy equipment, energy solutions, cars and light industries during the past 12 months.

This announcement came on the sidelines of the participation of Dubai Industrial City in “Made in the Emirates”, which is located in Abu Dhabi and will continue until May 22, 2025.

These investments reflect the pivotal role played by the Dubai Industrial City of the Tecom Group, in achieving the targets of the national industry and advanced technology “project 300 billion”, as well as the establishment of the UAE’s position as a leading destination for foreign direct investment and the preferred option of manufacturing companies that seek to grow at the regional and global levels from Dubai.

Saud Abu Al -Shawarb, Executive Deputy President of the Tecom Group – Industrial Sector, stressed that supporting advanced industries and accelerating their growth is one of the basic pillars to advance sustainable economic growth, pointing to the commitment of Dubai Industrial City to national industrial excellence in the UAE.

He said that the investments that Dubai Industrial City have succeeded in attracting during the last period reflect the competitiveness and strength of the integrated business environment it provides, and its ability to meet the needs of manufacturing companies and investors from all over the world, as these achievements confirm the pivotal role that Dubai Industrial City plays in consolidating the position of the UAE and Dubai as a preferred global destination for foreign direct investments.

He affirmed the city’s commitment to continuing to contribute effectively to consolidating the position of the UAE and Dubai as a global industrial destination, in line with the targets of the “300 billion project” project and the “Made in the Emirates” and Dubai Economic Agency D33.

Last year, he witnessed a prominent growth among 6 specialized sectors in Dubai Industrial City, which are basic minerals, machines, natural minerals, food, beverages, transportation and chemicals.

These investments that Dubai Industrial City have succeeded in attracting its leading position as a favorite destination for manufacturing companies, as it provides them with a specialized and integrated infrastructure that includes industrial lands, storage spaces and logistical services.

According to the press statement issued today, the Elite Holding Group is one of the new customers who joined Dubai Industrial City during the last period, which is a group of companies existing in the UAE and intends to establish an integrated car center with an area of ​​one million square feet and a value of 100 million dirhams to advance the growth wheel in the auto and e -commerce sectors. Pure Iscream, a prominent brand manufacturer such as “Baskin Robbins” and “Kweliti Ice”, is also seeking to create its new factory with an investment of 80 million dirhams in Dubai Industrial City, while “Ozone Pharmaceutical” intends to create a factory with a value of 293 million dirhams within an area of ​​150,700 square feet in Dubai Industrial City.

The “Made in the Emirates” forum provides an innovative platform for the local industrial sector pioneers, similar to Dubai Industrial City, to contribute to drawing the features of the future of the industrial and advanced industries sector in the region.
