I received Gulf and European offers .. I haven’t identified my destination yet

Al -Ahly youth coach, Portuguese Paulo Souza, revealed that he received contacts and offers from Gulf and European clubs, but he has not yet made his decision to stay or leave to search for another experience, indicating that he is very happy to exist with “Dubai Knights” and the work environment in the club, and crowning four championships in the current season.

He told «Emirates Today»: “I respect my contract with Al -Ahly’s youth, a match remains in the league championship against Al -Jazira, and I have already sat with the CEO of Al -Ahly Youth Club to discuss the matter, but I have not yet made my decision, certainly there is a desire from the club to stay with the team in the coming period, and I am very happy to be here, but let us see what extent the club wants to stay in the coming period.”

The Portuguese coach added: “I received several offers, whether in the region or in Europe, but I did not make my decision, and after the last match in the season we will see what will happen, in addition to knowing the opinion of my technical and wife’s teams, and in general the management of Al -Ahly youth did not skimp on the team permanently, and it was always at good, and personally I have very distinguished relations with the players and members of the Board of Directors.”

He added: “I am proud of the players of my team who presented a more than wonderful season, and achieving four titles that made a wonderful season, and we must all recognize the great effort they presented during a long scenario and a difficult season.”

The youth of Al-Ahly had defeated Dibba Al-Hosn 3-2, in the penultimate round of the ADNOC Professional League, in the last match of the team at the Rashid Stadium, after a match in which the coach gave the players the opportunity to participate, and they succeeded with distinction in their experience, and they came out winners, most notably the national team player Sultan Adel who played his second match with Al-Ahly youth, and succeeded in achieving the winning goal, in addition to the Uruguayan player Damian Garcia.
