Dubai Police launches a robot specialized in tactical operations

The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Operations Affairs in Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Ali Al-Ghaithi, launched the smart robot “Caliber Mini-Flex”, in a qualitative step that reflects the strategic trend of Dubai Police towards promoting field readiness through the latest smart technologies and advanced tactical equipment.

During the inauguration, Major General Al -Ghaithi stressed the commitment of the Dubai Police to enhance its technical structure and provide its cadres with the latest equipment specialized in security and dealing with explosives, praising the robot capabilities, and its upcoming role in supporting tactical tasks, especially in dangerous and complex environments.

The robot is a strategic addition, especially in the complex tasks that require accurate interventions in dangerous or narrow environments. It is characterized by its light weight, which does not exceed 36.7 kg, and its ability to carry bodies weighs up to 11 kg, and climb the stairs at an angle of 45 degrees, thanks to the front and background legs moving with angles ranging between -143 ° and+77 °.

It includes an advanced photography system with high -resolution cameras (1080 x 720 pixels), and is managed through a portable control unit with a 10.1 -inch touch screen, and the robot includes a non -rented water launch system, a built -in camera for the weapon, along with a single launch circle, which enhances its capabilities in dealing with suspicious objects and private security tasks, and supports the direct broadcasting feature of sound and image via the Internet, with the Internet A advanced warning system when a collision is approaching.
