Canada is looking to join the American “Golden” project

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that his country Canada had high -level discussions with the United States, which addressed the possibility of joining the “golden dome”, the missile shield project that US President Donald Trump is seeking to build.

“We have the ability, if we want, to participate in the golden dome through investments in partnership with the United States, this is something that we study and discuss at a high level,” Carney said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Create a missile shield

President Donald Trump has announced a huge project to create a missile shield called “The Golden Dome”, aiming to protect the United States from external missile attacks.

“During the election campaign, I promised the American people that I will build a sophisticated missile shield, and today I am pleased to announce that we officially chose the structure of this new system,” Trump said at a White House press conference.

He pointed out that the cost of the project will reach about 175 billion dollars, stressing that this “golden dome” will enter the service before the end of its second term, if it wins the upcoming elections.
