المملكة: Learn about the luggage storage service in the Grand Mosque to facilitate the performance of rituals


Declared The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announces the provision of a free luggage storage service for visitors and Entrants of the Grand Mosque, in a step aimed at facilitating the performance of worship and enabling Umrah pilgrims and worshipers to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance without worrying about their luggage.

The authority explained that the service allows the visitor to drop off his luggage at designated points distributed at a number of entrances to the Grand Mosque, including King Abdulaziz Gate (No. 1), Umrah Gate (No. 62), and King Fahd Gate (No. 79), in addition to To King Abdullah Gate (No. 100).

Beneficiary Data

At these points, the beneficiary’s data is recorded by the specialized employees, and he is given a receipt ensuring that he can retrieve his luggage later easily and safely.

It indicated that the beneficiary can, after completing his performance of worship, receive his luggage from the storage centers spread in the outer courtyards of the Grand Mosque, whose locations have been carefully determined to be close and easy to reach, and include Locations behind restrooms No. 6, and next to restrooms No. 2, in addition to a location in the eastern square next to the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Library, and another in the third Saudi expansion in front of Gate 104.

An integrated system

The authority confirmed that this service comes within an integrated system of services provided to Guests of God, with the aim of enhancing their comfort and raising the quality of their experience inside the Grand Mosque, in line with the efforts made to facilitate the performance of worship in an organized and safe atmosphere.

The Authority called on all visitors to benefit from this service, stressing its continued keenness to develop the services provided in a way that achieves the highest levels of comfort and reassurance for those visiting the Holy House of God.
