Sharjah Club won the first and second places in the Baraem Hand Championship

Sharjah, May 25 / WAM / Sharjah Sports Club crowned the first and second places in the Sharjah Sports Council for handball, through its teams “A” and “B”, while the Union Club of Kalba ranked third, and Al -Madam Club fourth.

The championship, which was held by the organization of the Sharjah Sports Council, witnessed the participation of 170 players who represented 8 clubs: Maliha, Khor Fakkan, Al -Dhaid, Al -Battam, and Dibba Al -Hosn, in addition to the four crowned teams.

Mohamed Obaid Al -Hossan, Director of Sports and Development Affairs Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, stressed the importance of the championship in supporting the Sunni groups and discovering promising talents, praising the level of players and the cooperation of the participating clubs.

Al -Hossan explained that the sports council is keen to develop the levels of players gradually, noting that the distinguished elements will give the opportunity to participate in periodic gatherings and training camps, which contributes to preparing a distinctive generation that supports the game in the future.
