Al Ain, May 31 / WAM / Today, the UAE Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition 2025 concluded sessions and discussions of its first edition in Al Ain by emphasizing the importance of the role of “innovation and entrepreneurship” in supporting the agricultural sector and supporting farmers in order to enhance sustainable food security in the UAE.

The fourth and closing day included a set of dialogue sessions that carry specialized headlines that discussed the importance of the strength of national and international partnerships, to support local farmers and strengthen the sustainable agriculture system in the UAE, empower farmers and the role of women in agricultural guidance, and provide advice and guidance on agricultural counseling.

His Excellency Naglaa Ahmed Al -Midfa, Vice -Chairman and Managing Director of the Emirates Fund for Growth, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sharaa) confirmed that the UAE Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition in its first version draws inspiration from the vision of the rational leadership, which is the agriculture sector is a basic pillar in national security and the sustainable economy, and the importance of transforming agriculture into a national priority and a real economic opportunity.

The dialogue sessions discussed important axes that push forward towards accelerating entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, financing agricultural projects and supporting the local product, and enhancing its position in the local and international markets, while highlighting the challenges and opportunities, investing entrepreneurial and innovative ideas and converting them into applicable projects, which is what the session “Entrepreneurship in the Agricultural Sector – Challenges and Opportunities” moderated “that Manea Ahmed managed” Al -Kaabi, CEO of Nahali Emirates Company, Chairman of the Hatta Traders, and discussed mechanisms for supporting sustainable projects and enhancing investment in the agricultural sector.

Sultan Salem Al Shamsi, Director of the National Agricultural Center, Shaker Farid Zainal, Head of Banking Business Department at the Emirates Development Bank, and His Excellency Sarah Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Center for Entrepreneurship “Sharia”, and Dr. Fawzan Al -Khaldi, Director of Programs and Initiatives at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Foundation .. A special session with the winners of the Sheikh Mansour Agricultural Excellence in the innovation category celebrated their achievements, creativity and innovations, and reviewed their journey in the agricultural sector, their experiences in developing their projects, the challenges they faced, and the factors that contributed to their success.

The session also highlighted the lessons learned and best practices that can inspire farmers and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector to enhance innovation and sustainability. The session was presented by Eng. Noura Saeed Al -Nuaimi, a head researcher at the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and the winners of the Sheikh Mansour Agricultural Excellence Award spoke to her.
