Damascus International Airport 2025 receives the first flydubai flights

After a break for years, Damascus International Airport today received June 1, 2025, the first flight of “Fly Dubai”.

According to the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Syrian Air Transport, the future was at the forefront of the Emirates Ambassador to Syria, Hassan Ahmed Al -Shehhi, accompanied by an official delegation.

The reception ceremony was also attended by the Associate Chairman of the General Authority of the Syrian Civil Aviation Abdul Bari Al -Saj, the director of the commission, Mr. Amjad Nakhleh, and the director of public relations at the authority, Mr. Alaa Salal.

In the context of strengthening the regional linkage, “Flydubai” began its flights directly from Dubai to Damascus, after all the operational standards of Damascus International Airport in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
