A strong start for the Asian Women’s Ice Championship in Al Ain
Al Ain on June 1 / WAM / The first edition of the Asia Ice Hockey Championship for Women 2025, which is held at the Hili Ski Hall, was launched yesterday evening with the participation of 6 teams, the Emirates, India, Malaysia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines, under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
In the first matches of the first round, our national team lost 1-4 against its Iranian counterpart, while the Indian team beat its Malaysian counterpart 3-1, and the Philippine team won a great victory over the Kyrgyzstan national team 15-0.
The championship competitions will continue tomorrow, to meet our national team with the Indian national team, and Kyrgyzstan faces its counterpart, Iran, while the Philippine team plays with its Malaysian counterpart.
