The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research appreciated the council’s adoption of these standards, stressing that it reflects the keenness of the rational leadership on the optimal investment in Emirati competencies, and the provision of a qualitative and integrated high education that accompanies the state’s aspirations and future aspirations.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirmed its full commitment to supporting students, parents and scholarships in the application of approved standards, by providing academic counseling and necessary information about the recognized institutions, through its website: www.mohesr.gov.ae

The criteria adopted by the Council of Education and Human Development and Society to organize the study of national students outside the country are accurate and studied, and focus in essence on ensuring students enrolling in academic institutions prestigious globally, and the criteria require that the university be among the 50 best universities globally in the specialization to be studied, or to come among the 100 best universities in the specialty and the best 100 universities in the general classification, in the event that the state of scholarship is in English (except The United States of America and Australia).

In the event that the scholarship state is not in English (except America and Australia), the university must be among the best 200 universities in specialization and the best 200 universities in the general classification, or among the best 300 universities in specialization and the best 300 universities in the general classification, according to the international classifications approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in a manner that guarantees the quality of educational outcomes and their compatibility with national priorities
