Go to the quarter -finals of “Roland Garros” for the fifth time in a row

The American Coco Gov, ranked second in the world, reached the quarter-finals of the France Open, second the four major tennis championships, for the fifth time in a row by beating Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, ranked 6-0, 7-0 and 5-5 Monday.
Goffs, a 2022 winter runner-up, settled the first group easily 6-0 in 27 minutes after breaking her rival three times.
Alexandrova resisted fiercely in the second group that lasted 54 minutes, but Gouf, Flashing Midoz in 2023, settled in her favor 7-5 and thus the match in 81 minutes.
It is the fourth victory for a hollow against Alexandrova in five confrontations that brought them together.
In the next round, Goffs will meet with one of her countrymen Madison Kez, Australian Open, early this year or Haile Peptest.
