Al-Masry Kishk is the coach of the youth team in “Asian Hand”

The Handball Federation announced, in a statement, yesterday, the contract with Egyptian coach, Mohamed Samir Keshk, on loan from Dibba Al-Hisn Club, to lead the national youth team during the ninth Asian Youth Handball Championship, hosted by the Chinese city of Zhuzhou, during the period from 15 to 26 July.

The tournament is a qualifying stage for the World Under-21 Handball Championship, scheduled in Macedonia, during the period from June 23 to July 4, 2027, where the top four teams qualify for the World Cup.

Kishk has a coaching record full of achievements, led by his leadership of the Sharjah team to win the Asian Club Champions League title in 2024, for the first time in the club’s history. He also led it in the same season to achieve a local quadruple, by winning the Men’s League titles, the Emirates Cup, the Federation Cup, and the Super Cup.

Kishk previously coached the Egyptian Aviation Clubs, the Saudi Al-Adala Club, and Dibba Al-Hisn, and he also has great experience as a player in the Emirati stadiums, as he represented Sharjah between the years 2006 and 2010, and won the President’s Cup twice, and the Federation Cup twice, before moving to Shabab Al-Ahly, where he won the league titles and the President’s Cup, in addition to the Super Cup, and also defended the colors of the Al-Nasr team.

The handball team will compete in the tournament in the second group, alongside the teams of Japan, South Korea, Iran, Kuwait, Qatar, and India, as part of its quest to achieve positive results and compete for one of the qualification tickets to the World Youth Championship.
