3.2853 trillion dollars in foreign exchange reserves in China in May

Beijing on June 7 / WAM / Official data issued by the National Foreign Cash Authority in China showed today, Saturday, that the total Chinese foreign exchange reserves amounted to 3.2853 trillion US dollars at the end of last May, an increase of $ 3.6 billion or 0.11% compared to the end of last April.

The authority said in a statement that the effects of currency exchange and changes in asset prices have led to an increase in foreign exchange reserves for China in May.

The statement stated that the Chinese economy continues to recover and improve, and that the quality of economic development witnessed a steady improvement, providing support for the maintenance of foreign exchange reserves of the country.
