"Excellence for excellence" Supports the first Emirati to participate in the World Cup Formula 4 boats

Abu Dhabi, June 9/ WAM/ Mubadala Excellence Program announced that Emirati Alia Abdel Salam joined the list of creators supported by the program, to continue her career in the world of fast boats racing towards achieving more successes.
The Mubadala Excellence Program is a community initiative aimed at supporting the talented people throughout the country in the fields of sports, arts, culture and innovation, while Mubadala is joined as a major partner in the World Fast Brick Formula 4 for the 2025 season.
Alia’s participation is an important moment in the women’s sport march in the country, as it is the first Emirati woman to participate in the Formula 4 World Championship, where the UAE is in the upcoming races held in Sweden, Norway and Italy, and this constitutes a personal achievement for her and a message that reflects the growing presence of the state in international sports forums, and a vital step that enhances the position of Emirati women in various fields.
Through the program, Alia will obtain the necessary support to achieve its ambitions with that sport, as the program, which began in 2021, seeks to empower the creators and launch their capabilities in various fields, as well as enhance the purposeful societal impact within the commitment of Mubadala to sponsor local talents.
Alia was raised in a sports environment, influenced by the march of her father, Abd al -Salam Fayrouz, the former hero in the sport of water engines boats, as this sport attracted her from a young age, and continued to advance to prove its worth locally and split its way towards the world.
Alia expressed her happiness to join the program, noting that her goal is to inspire the next generation of Emirati girls to strive for their ambitions, whatever the challenges, expressing her pride in the confidence that she gave her exchange.
She added that she hopes, through this experience, to encourage girls to exercise motor boats, and contribute to motivating young people to innovate, and raise the state flag high in marine sports.
Alia achieved fifth place in her first international participation in the Formula 4 Championship in Norway in 2024, and in the first round of the Emirates Formula 4 Championship in Abu Dhabi, she achieved ninth place, and in the second round that was held in Khorfakkan, she ranked seventh after a distinguished performance in volatile marine conditions, and in the third round in Abu Dhabi, she ranked sixth, and experts appreciated her artistic accuracy and strategy.
