FIFA announces the participation of 26 players from the World Cup in the Club World Cup 2025

Miami- Florida on June 12/ WAM/ FIFA announced the lists of the 32 clubs participating in the first edition of the 2025 Club World Cup, which starts in the United States of America tomorrow, Saturday, with the participation of an unprecedented number of 26 players crowned the World Cup stars, making this tournament the most exciting at the level of international club tournaments.
The World Cup winners represent 4 former Champions, most notably 13 players from the Argentine national team crowned in the World Cup in Qatar 2022, led by the star Lionel Messi, who is playing the tournament with Inter Miami, and is expected to participate in the opening match against Al -Ahly club.
The lists also include 9 players from France, the champion of 2018, including Killian Mbappe, the star of Real Madrid, along with a number of stars who won the World Cup title with Germany “2014” and Spain “2010”.
The players are from Argentina Marcus Akuna, Julian Al -Fariz, Franco Armani, Wallet Korea, Rodrigo de Powell, Evle de Maria, Nazo Fernandez, Lawaro Martinez, Lionel Messi, Naanoul Molina, Gonzalo Montel, Nicholas Outamadi, and Jermin Bessella.

Players representing 81 countries, including 22 countries that have not been present in any version of the World Cup for the teams, will participate in the championship, which reflects the global dimension of the competition. 32 clubs will compete for the title of the first world champion for clubs in its expanded form, through 63 games held in 12 stadiums within 11 American cities.
Gianni Infantino, President of “FIFA”, stressed that this tournament represents a real embodiment of the global ambition of the game, and the best talents of different continents gathered, noting that 26 players of participants are seeking history to crown two international titles, the World Cup for the Clubs and the Club World Cup.
It is noteworthy that clubs such as Atletico Madrid “6 players” and the Argentine River Plate “4 players” include the largest number of crowned World Cup, while club lists included 58 new players during the tournament’s transfer window, at a total cost of 480.4 million US dollars.
As for the most representative countries in their players in the World Cup clubs, they are Brazil by 141 players, Argentina with 103 players, then Spain with 54 players, Portugal with 49 players, Mexico with 41 players, then the United States of America with 40 players, while the UAE represents 8 players within Al Ain Club, and Morocco 31 players on the Wydad Club list, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is 25 players on the Al -Hilal club list, and Egypt 23 A player on the Al -Ahly club list.
FIFA allows the ability to replace and add players during the period from June 27 to July 3, according to specific regulations, to ensure the participation of the most prominent stars.
