Lebanese stars performed an exceptional artistic evening titled “Cedar Night”, yesterday evening, Thursday, as part of the Riyadh Season, in a night that combined luxury, mirth, and Lebanese identity, and presented an integrated musical experience that reflected the depth of the Lebanese song and its place in the Arab artistic scene.

The evening was the embodiment of an artistic vision that crossed borders, as the audience met the voice of Lebanon in a show that blended authenticity and modernity, classical singing and Lebanese folklore, amid integrated theatrical preparations and a striking visual design that was inspired by the symbolism of the cedar tree, which contributed to Improving the audio-visual experience for attendees.

Three of the most prominent Lebanese and Arab singing stars participated in the “Cedar Night” revival: Assi El-Hellani, Ragheb Alama, and Carole Samaha, where each artist presented a rich singing bouquet that varied between his timeless works and his modern songs, in addition to authentic Lebanese songs and musical medleys that brought to mind the masterpieces of heritage.

The artist Assi El-Hillani presented a musical presence characterized by the authentic mountain feeling, and he delighted the audience with a collection of his most famous works, including: “Lebanese,” “She Said to Me,” “Stay in My Heart,” “Be the Moon,” and “Get Up, Dance to Me Later,” in addition to a Lebanese mawal and a Tarbi medley that ignited the atmosphere of the theater with interaction and applause.

While the artist Ragheb Alama accompanied the audience On an integrated musical journey that combined romance and rhythmic energy, during which he presented a number of his most prominent songs, including: “My Heart Is Her Love,” “I Wish,” “Janna, O My Eyes,” “Oh My Life,” “My Sweetheart, My Dear,” and “If Your Window is on My Window,” amidst remarkable public chanting of the song clips.

The artist Carole Samaha added a sophisticated feminine touch with her warm voice and her elaborate theatrical performance, and presented A collection of her most famous works, including: “Forget Your Worries,” “Look Into,” “Lord,” “Chaos,” “Lights of Fame,” and “Listen to Me,” in addition to classic Lebanese songs that took the audience back to the time of beautiful singing.

The evening witnessed a special moment when the artist Ragheb Alama presented a new musical work dedicated to the occasion entitled “Cedars Night,” from the words of the poet Tony Abi Karam and composed by Ragheb. A sign, in an artistic tribute to Lebanon and in celebration of Riyadh’s hosting of this night, amid long applause and remarkable interaction from the audience.
