Assi El-Hellani: “Cedar Night” is a message that Lebanon is fine… and Lebanese art is present despite all the challenges
The artist confirmed Assi Al-Hellani said that his participation in “Cedars Night” represented for him “a night of a lifetime” and an exceptional artistic and human experience, after the end of the ceremony and during the press conference that was held on the sidelines of the evening as part of the activities Riyadh Season.
Helani said that “Cedars Night” came as a generous gesture that expresses a deep appreciation for Lebanese art at a time when Lebanon is going through difficult circumstances, stressing that the most important message was to confirm that “Lebanon is fine and will continue to do so despite all the challenges.” He thanked His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh for this initiative, and to the General Entertainment Authority for its support, which contributed to the success of the evening and its presentation in an honorable manner.
Pride in Riyadh
He added that his happiness in participating stems from his belief that Lebanese art is capable of representing its country and its people in the best way, appreciating at the same time the generosity of the Kingdom and its people, and expressing his pride in Riyadh, which he described as “pride.” “And pride,” because of your love, chivalry, and kindness.
Helani continued his speech by praying for the long life of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and for the health and well-being of His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, indicating that he was keen during “Cedar Night” to present poetic and lyrical clips as a gift that expresses the appreciation and love he has, hoping that they have sincerely reached the hearts of the attendees and those responsible for The event.
The artist Assi Al-Hellani concluded his statement by praising the Riyadh season, stressing that he has always become accustomed to its surprises and renewed creative ideas year after year, wishing the Kingdom more progress and success, and the audience more brilliant upcoming artistic meetings.
