Atomic Energy Agency: Iran does not comply with nuclear guarantees

This development comes in the wake of the concerns raised by Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, regarding Iran’s complete lack of cooperation with inspections, warning that this prevents independent verification of its nuclear activities.
Grusi said that Iran’s increasing stock of highly enriched uranium and outstanding questions about its program are still serious issues, noting that the agency will not be in a position to surely that the Iranian nuclear program is exclusively peaceful unless Iran helps the agency in solving outstanding guarantees issues.
Increasing fears
On Thursday, a decision to shed light on serious and increasing fears since 2019, according to which Iran has failed to fully cooperate with the inspectors of the United Nations Agency. The decision confirms that Tehran was “unable to repeated” an explanation and evidence that its nuclear materials do not refer to more fertilization for the purpose of military use.
The text of the decision stated that Iran has also failed to provide the International Agency with technically reliable explanations for the presence of human -made uranium particles in unannounced locations in Warin, Mariwan, and Tarazouzabad.
The director of the International Atomic Energy Agency said on Monday: “Unfortunately, Iran was either repeatedly answered, or did not provide technically reliable answers to the agency’s questions. It has also sought to sterilize the sites, which hindered the agency’s achievement activities.”
According to Mr. Grusi, Tehran has stored 400 kg of highly enriched uranium. He told the agency’s governor council: “Given the potential effects of spread, the agency cannot ignore it.”
