Completing the investigation with 14 defendants… and bringing charges against Baddour Abdul Hamid Ali

The Public Prosecution in Bahrain announced the end of its investigations into a number of defendants, including the accused, Badour Abdul Hamid Ali, in cases related to intelligence with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The prosecution charged the accused with direct communication and intelligence with the Revolutionary Guard and assisting it in carrying out hostile acts against the Kingdom, in addition to sending pictures and coordinates of vital sites through encrypted applications for the purpose of targeting them.

The charges also included publishing pictures of sensitive sites inside the country, broadcasting false news and malicious rumours, as well as glorifying and encouraging hostilities, in what was considered a threat to security and stability. The prosecution confirmed that the case was referred to the competent court to take legal measures against her.
