Al Ain faces Juventus armed with “8 deals”

Al Ain team will be required to show its usual personality in the big matches when it opens its career in the FIFA World Cup.

Tomorrow at five o’clock in the morning Emirates time, with a strong confrontation against Juventus, at the Audi Field stadium in the American capital, Washington, in the first round of Group Seven competitions.

The confrontation in front of one of the European football giants is a real and fateful test for the team, who used to fight adults in continental and international forums, most notably his historical victory over the Argentine River Plate in the semi -final of the 2018 edition when he reached the final and lost to Real Madrid.

Al Ain players and the technical staff, led by Serbian Vladimir Ivich, realize that facing the “old lady” is a qualitative test of the team’s ability to keep up with the major European clubs, and it also represents a joint station in the journey of the group stage, which also includes both Manchester City and Moroccan Wydad, in a group that is described as the most difficult between the eight groups.

Despite the weak season of the 2024 Asian continent, Al Ain has not lost in his last seven matches, achieving four victories.

But the task in front of Juventus, who did not participate previously in the Club World Cup, will not be easy with the Italian club’s management renewed confidence in the Croatian coach, Igor Todor, until 2026 after he replaced the successor to the Tigo Motta in March, even if he was unable to achieve any title.

The Al Ain team had started its preparations for the championship early through an external camp in Washington since the beginning of this month, which included a friendly match against the New Zealand Auckland City, gained it with a goal without a response, while the technical staff focused during the camp on raising the rate of harmony and building a clear perception of the starting lineup.

“Violet” enters the championship with a collection that mixes experience and ambition, and includes a large number of graduates of the club academy, as well as qualitative deals that were attracted during the recent transfer period, with the aim of enhancing technical depth and providing multiple solutions to the coach.

The team’s contracts included eight players, led by the Moroccan trio Hussein Rahimi, Yahya Abdel -Khaleq, Nessim Al -Shazly, in addition to the Egyptian Rami Rabia, the veteran Portuguese goalkeeper Roy Patricio, the Slovenian Marcel Ratnik, the Austrian Addis Yashic, and the Argentine Facono Sabala.

It is expected that the starting lineup will include Moroccan Sufyan Rahimi, Bargoyan Kaku, South Korean Park Young, and midfielder Matias Blaysis, while the primary goalkeeper’s identity remains unlimited between the duo Khaled Issa and Soy Patricio in light of the strong competition between them.

Al Ain’s participation in this version of the Club World Cup acquires a special character, as it comes in the largest version of the tournament, and puts the representative of the Emirates and Asia in front of real tests against the elite clubs of the world, and as a champion of the Asian continent 2024, the “leader” holds a double responsibility in providing an honorable image that reflects the development of Emirati football and its escalating position on the world arena.

Al Ain fans, along with Emirati football fans, are also looking forward to the “leader” achieved a strong start against Juventus, which gives him a moral boost and a positive result at the beginning of the journey, amid broad hopes to rewrite a new chapter of global glory, similar to what the team did in its historical participation seven years ago.
