Hamdan Al Mansouri wins the Al Yamamah Cup at the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival

Jockey Hamdan Ahmed bin Harmash Al Mansouri won the Al Yamamah Cup title, within the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival, over a distance of 120 kilometers, yesterday, at the Dubai International Endurance City in Saih Al Salam, with the participation of 146 male and female knights from various stables and equestrian clubs in the country.

Hamdan Al Mansouri won first place in the race designated for mares, riding the horse SW Gacheva, owned by M7 Stables, where he came in second place in the first stage, a distance of 40 kilometers, and fell to fourth place in the second stage, a distance of 35 kilometers, and came in fifth place in the third stage, a distance of 25 kilometers, while he jumped to the lead in the fourth stage, a distance of 20 kilometers, recording a time of 4:18:18 hours.

In second place came the jockey Rashid Mohammed Atiq Al Muhairi, riding the horse “Badwina Christiana”, owned by “F3 Stables”. He ranked 12th in the first stage, advanced to 10th place in the second stage, came eighth in the third stage, and finished the race in the fourth stage by taking second place with a time of 4:18:21 hours.

Knight Fares Ahmed Al Mansouri took third place riding the horse SW Gorkha, owned by M7 Stables, where he came in fourth place in the first stage, advanced to third place in the second stage, and fell to ninth place in the third stage, before finishing the race in third place with a time of 4:18:22 hours.

• 146 male and female knights participated from various stables and equestrian clubs in the country.
