The Crown Prince of Sharjah honors the winners of the 22nd volunteer award

Sharjah, June 19 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, honored today, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the winners of the Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work in its 22nd session, which numbered 41 winners of individuals and institutions.
The ceremony, which was held at the Sharjah Academy of Education, witnessed the honor of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, the humanitarian envoy of the Grand Heart Foundation, within the category of veteran personalities, for his prominent efforts in humanitarian and voluntary work, in addition to Sheikh Essam bin Saqr Al Qasimi, advisor to the Ruler’s Office, for his distinguished contributions to volunteer work and his charitable fingerprints that he mocked in the service of the community, Khamis bin Salem Al -Suwaidi At the Ruler’s Office, in appreciation of his prominent efforts in serving society.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Sharjah listened to an explanation of the 14 categories of the award, which numbered the 14 categories, recognizing His Highness the numbers of the winners, honorable and veteran personalities participating in the award, and the sustainable endowment projects supported by the award.
The ceremony started with the national peace of the UAE, followed by verses of the Holy Qur’an, after which His Highness watched a representative presentation with a video that shed light on the importance of family volunteering and its benefits on individuals and society, which enhances the values of cohesion and social solidarity.
His Highness and the attendees witnessed a film material that dealt with the most prominent numbers of the award and the number of participants and winners in different groups, in addition to the number of voluntary hours registered for the participants, their voluntary achievements and the number of winners and honored.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al -Mill, head of the Social Services Department, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work, confirmed during a speech that the Emirate of Sharjah, led by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, continues its approach to enhancing the values of volunteer work and consolidating the culture of societal giving.
The tendency pointed out that the award over 22 courses succeeded in honoring hundreds of individuals and institutions who presented bright models in various fields of volunteer and humanitarian work, which contributed to enhancing the values of cohesion and social solidarity.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work praised the award of the award to a prominent level until it became a platform that celebrates creativity in the fields of goodness, implants the spirit of social responsibility between young people and youth, and encouraging government and private agencies to adopt innovative volunteer programs with a tangible impact.
The tendency stressed that the award opened the way for the participation of various groups of society, including people with disabilities and the elderly, confirming that volunteer work is not limited by ages or circumstances, but stimulates the firm belief in the importance of serving others, citing the words of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, “Volunteering is a noble human value and a major tributary to achieve comprehensive development of societies, and enhances the morals of individuals with their active contribution and giving Unlimited.
At the end of his speech, the Chairman of the Prize Board of Trustees congratulated the winners of the current session, appreciating the efforts of the jury and members of the Prize Board of Trustees and those in charge of it, who contributed to upgrading the award level, calling on everyone to continue to follow the volunteer approach, which is a human duty and a humanitarian path that enhances social cohesion and sustainable development.
For his part, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Butti Al -Muhairi, Chairman of the Jury of the Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the great role that volunteers play in enhancing societal interdependence and cohesion, indicating that the twenty -second session witnessed wide participation, revealing that the award received 292 files, of which 142 files were carefully reviewed, so that the winners are chosen with high accuracy and transparency according to objective and clear criteria, What reflects the prestigious position of the award in spreading the culture of volunteering and its lofty values in the UAE.
The Chairman of the Jury also expressed his deep thanks to the Board of Trustees for its continuous support that contributed to strengthening the award march and its success, stressing that this support reflects the council’s commitment to the award’s message and its noble goals, calling on all the participants to continue in volunteer work and contribute effectively to the service of society, hoping for them more success and excellence in this noble field.
His Highness honored the award -winning categories, which were distributed over 14 different categories .. And won the award for the best manufacturer for volunteer opportunities, Dubai Municipality in the category of government institutions for the opportunity of a “hour with a cleaning engineer”, while the Emirates Cancer Society won the category of private institutions for the opportunity of “health awareness ambassadors”.
With regard to the distinguished supporter award for volunteer work, the Dubai Police General Command won the first position and the Community Development Department in Abu Dhabi, second place in the category of government institutions, while the first place for the category of individuals, Mohammed Issa Al Hammadi.
The Dubai Police General Command won the “Establishing Protection Schools” initiative with the award for the best volunteer initiative in the category of government institutions, while the family of Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Al Ali won the “My Friend My Book” initiative in the category of families, and Mrs. Fatima Ismail Al -Sarayrah won the “Statement for Autism” initiative in the category of individuals.
The Volunteer Volunteer Team won the first place award for the “Integration of Our Children with our Senior” initiative in the category of volunteer teams, and the Najah Academy Center affiliated with the University of Abu Dhabi won the initiative of “Al -Murshidi Al -Qashr Program” in the private sector category.
As for the voluntary hours record award, Ismail Galaouj won it in the individuals category with 3978 voluntary hours, and the Hanan Saeed Said Salem family won the first place after achieving 306 voluntary hours in the family category, while Ata Hamdan Voluntary team won the award after registering 45477 voluntary hours in the category of volunteer teams.
He won the University Student Award for the highest volunteer participants, the student Batoul Saadi Ibrahim Al -Najjar with 1943 voluntary hours, and the Persia Prize for Voluntary Work for the Highest Voluntary Participants, from the student’s share of Tabarak Saadi Al -Najjar, who recorded 1606 voluntary hours.
As for the authenticity award for the best volunteer posts for the elderly, Halima Ahmed Saif Al -Naqbi won the first place with 86 voluntary hours, and Latifa Mahmoud Mohamed ranked second with 26 voluntary hours, while Mira Hamad Saif Al -Ketbi won the third place with 25 voluntary hours.
And the first place for a prize for the best volunteer participants went to Salem Mohamed Karim, who recorded 1296 voluntary hours, while Ayman Azhari Ali ranked second with 575.2 voluntary hours, and Salma Khamis Hamdan Al -Salami came in third place with 301 voluntary hours.
Within the award for the best civil, he won the first position of the International Charitable Business Authority from the Emirate of Ajman, while the Ataa Hamdan volunteer team won the award for the best volunteer team, and at the level of the award for the best young leader for volunteer teams, Sultan Salem Al -Kaabi won it, and Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Muhammad Al -Kamali won the Verdical Prize, and Arad Real Estate Development Company won the Prize for Excellence in Social Responsibility, and the award for the best suburb was in volunteer work Khalidiya suburb.
His Highness also honored the winners of the private groups within the category of volunteers with special volunteer work, and they are the blood donors from: Adel Abdul Rahman Al Ali, Ibrahim Muhammad Al -Zarouni, Roji Nicolas Zionist, Abdullah Muhammad Al -Mulla, the Prophet Nazir Shaabouq, Mubarak Amoud Ghadban, Eid Rashid Al -Mutlaq, Jassem Muhammad Al -Shehhi, Raed Fadel Ramadan, Mustafa Abdul Rahman.
This annual award comes within the framework of the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah to support and encourage volunteering, and highlight the bright models in this field, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development and enhancing solidarity between members of society.
The honoring ceremony was attended by their Highness: Sheikh Essam bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Advisor to the Ruler’s Office, Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Ruler’s Office, His Excellency Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, and a number of senior officials and winners.
