Under the auspices of Saif bin Zayed .. The launch of the activities of the “Drug Prevention Forum 2025”

Under the patronage of the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Drug Control Council, the activities of the “Drug Prevention Forum 2025” were launched today, Thursday, under the slogan “A conscious family … a safe community”, which is organized by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Drug Control Council, and the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, and will continue until June 29 in Galleria on the island of Maria in Abu Dhabi.

The activities of the forum were opened by Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al -Muhairi, Commander -in -Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, in the presence of Major General Muhammad Suhail Al -Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector in Abu Dhabi Police, Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Director General of Federal Narcotics Control at the Ministry of Interior, and Brigadier Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of the Drug Control Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police, and Judge Dr. Hatem Ali, the regional representative of the United Nations Office concerned The crime of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, in addition to representatives from the police leaders in the country, and a number of strategic partners.

The first day of the forum witnessed the organization of a series of specialized consulting sessions, which dealt with multiple axes in the field of drug prevention, most notably: strengthening the role of the family in prevention, providing support and guidance for families and youth, the importance of effective family communication, and developing decision -making skills among different groups of society, in addition to supporting mental health and preventive behavior, and the impact of the social environment in forming behavior.

The forum also witnessed a remarkable interaction from visitors, especially young people, because of its diversity in the activities between consulting sessions, workshops and field performances, virtual reality technology (VAR), in addition to the launch of the Drug Prevention Council, the Future Leaders Council, the “Family and Society Awareness Methods” program.

The forum included a group of mass and interactive activities, the most prominent of which are musical performances for the military group of Abu Dhabi Police, and police dog performances from the Security Inspection Department, as well as “drug prevention” episodes from the organization of the Federal Narcotics Prevention Department, and various educational competitions directed to all members of society.
