Abdullah bin Zayed meets the Canadian Minister of Finance and National Revenue

Ottawa on June 20 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Francois Philip Chambine, Minister of Finance and National Revenue in Canada, as part of a working visit by His Highness to the capital Ottawa.
The two sides discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the UAE and Canada, and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of the two countries common and their development priorities.
His Highness and His Excellency Francois Philip Chambine also reviewed ways to develop and develop joint cooperation paths in a number of fields, especially economic and financial, as well as support for cooperation mechanisms in the field of investment between the government and private sectors in both countries.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed, during the meeting, the strength of relations between the UAE and Canada, and the keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation, especially in the economic fields, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and His Excellency Abdul Rahman Ali Al Nadi, State Ambassador to Canada.
