A new initiative to qualify an Arab generation in research and academic artificial intelligence

Dubai University, in cooperation with the AI ​​Press Intelligence Foundation for Research and Supervision (AIJRF), has revealed the details of the first Arab initiative of its kind entitled: “Arab AI Researchers, within the series of“ Arab Index for Artificial Intelligence in Universities ”, which was announced for the first time at Dubai University last year, in a leading step towards consolidating the culture of artificial intelligence in education and scientific research,

An integrated platform
Dr. Issa Al -Bastaki, President of Dubai University, said in statements to “Emirates Today” that the initiative represents an integrated platform for enabling Arab researchers and academics to deal effectively with artificial intelligence applications, stressing the importance of making a fundamental shift in the tools of education and research within universities, in line with the variables of the fourth industrial revolution and the requirements of the future labor market.

Arab researchers
For his part, Dr. Saeed Al -Zahir, Director of the Center for Future Studies at Dubai University and head of the Arab Index for Artificial Intelligence in universities, stressed that the initiative aims to reach the largest number of Arab researchers, through a specialized training program that links artificial intelligence and academic education, with a focus on smart use of modern technologies in data analysis, the completion of graduate studies, and the development of scientific production in a comprehensive manner.

A comprehensive and renewed program

In turn, Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Zahir, head of the Artificial Intelligence Press Corporation, indicated that the initiative includes a high -level technical and knowledge training program, enabling the participants to master the use of artificial intelligence tools in theoretical and applied research, understanding the mechanisms of data analysis and deducting results with accuracy and speed, as well as integrating artificial intelligence solutions in preparing assignments, designing tests, and proposing student projects in a way Interactive.
The program also focuses on enhancing the moral values ​​and principles associated with the use of artificial intelligence, and spreading awareness of potential risks, in an effort to build a responsible and sustainable digital culture in the Arab academic milieu.

Axiops’ goals
The initiative seeks to achieve a set of pivotal goals, most notably the enabled researchers to use artificial intelligence tools in the areas of scientific research in an objective and institutional way and integrate artificial intelligence in all stages of university education, starting from a bachelor’s degree to graduate studies.
The initiative focuses on stimulating the presentation of innovative ideas in master’s and doctoral theses that depend on artificial intelligence and building an Arab knowledge community specializing in educational artificial intelligence, keeping pace with the latest global trends, and developing strategic partnerships between universities and research institutions to support academic digital transformation. And support for local and international scientific publishing in the field of educational artificial intelligence.

Scientific sources
The initiative seeks to provide specialized Arab scientific sources that take into account the cultural and academic context in the Arab world.
The university stated that the participants
In the program, they can high -level technical and scientific skills, which include learning to use 10 advanced applications for artificial intelligence in scientific research and writing tight studies, and gaining experiences in managing classrooms electronically through 5 smart tools. Learn about 5 applications to manage student projects, assess duties and tests automatically.

Implementation mechanism
The program is implemented throughout the year, three times annually, with the participation of 150 candidates in each session, and each session extends over 4 intensive training days by 15 applied hours.
At the end of the program, the targets – after submitting an applied research or educational project – obtained an accredited certificate from each of the Artificial Intelligence Press Foundation for Research and Supervision, Dubai University, universities and partner academic institutions.
