The UAE is following with concern the escalation of the military confrontation in the region and calls for wisdom and dialogue
Abu Dhabi, June 22 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates expressed its deep concern about the continued tension in the region and the targeting of Iranian nuclear installations, and demanded that the immediate end to escalate to avoid serious repercussions and the region slipping into new levels of instability.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry stressed the necessity of prevailing diplomacy and dialogue to resolve differences, and within comprehensive approaches that achieve stability, prosperity and justice, and renewed its demand for the international community to mobilize efforts to reach a comprehensive treatment of these sensitive and dangerous developments that preserve the region and its people from the scourge of conflicts.
The Ministry urges the United Nations and the UN Security Council to assume their responsibilities through serious work to resolve chronic issues in the region that is at stake and is an increasing threat to security and stability at the regional and international levels.
The Ministry also stressed the belief of the UAE that wisdom and responsibility in these circumstances requires serious engagement in addressing crucial issues through negotiation, stressing the need to benefit from the experiences and wars of the historical region, and the lessons and lessons it carries.
