Judo team participates in five players in a championship "Ulan Pator Grand Salam"

Abu Dhabi, June 24 / WAM / The first UAE National Judo team will participate in the “Ulan Pator Grand Salam” championship, which is organized by the International Judo Federation from July 25 to 27, in the Mongolian capital, Ulan Pator, as part of a series of Great Slams listed in the agenda of the International Federation.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al -Darai, President of the Emirates Judo Federation, stressed that this participation comes within the annual program of the first team for the year 2025, which also includes hosting the Abu Dhabi Grand Salam Championship during the period from 27 to 29 November.
The national team heads to Mongolia, Dr. Nasser Al -Tamimi, a member of the National Olympic Committee and the Secretary -General of the Federation, and includes coach Victor Sixrov, the assistant technical staff, along with five players: Simio Consta (weighing under 60 kg), Naji Yazbek, Karim Abdel Latif (weight under 73 kg), Omar Jad (weighing under 81 kg), and Suleiman Ibrahim (under 90 kg).
Al -Darai indicated that the team will resume its training in Abu Dhabi during the first week of July, in preparation for the championship, with the drawing ceremony take place on July 24 through the visual communication technology, while the competitions are held in the “AICC” hall as of Friday morning, July 25.
