“Dubai Press” launches the second edition of the “Arab Podcast Program” July 7

Dubai Press Club announced the launch of the second edition of the “Arab Podcast Program”, the specialized initiative that aims to prepare and rehabilitate a new generation of sound content makers in the Arab world, in light of the rapid growth witnessed by the podcast sector globally.
The program, which starts on the seventh of next July at the Dubai Press Club headquarters, extends over five continuous training weeks that combine specialized foundational and applied aspects, under the supervision of a group of the most prominent Arab experts and trainers in the field of podcasts and the sound content industry.
The launch of the second version of the program comes as a continuation of the qualitative outputs achieved by the first version and a continuation of the approach adopted by the Dubai Press Club in developing the Arab media scene in line with the needs of the digital age, through practical programs that give its employees professional skills and applied knowledge in the fields of audio content industry.

Maryam Al -Mulla, Acting Dubai Press Club, confirmed that the design of the second edition of the program came as a result of an in -depth study of the requirements of the Arab podcast industry and its accelerating development, explaining that the program provides to the participants an integrated practical educational experience covering all stages of production from building the idea to distribution and professional expansion.
She said, “We were keen that the second version be more comprehensive in terms of the content of training and the level of specialization in each axis, with the involvement of a group of the most prominent podcast makers in the Arab world to transfer their experiences and experiences to the participants, allowing them to build media projects capable of competition and continuity according to the highest professional and commercial standards.”
For its part, Mahfam Abdullah, director of the program, confirmed that the second edition of the program establishes Dubai’s position in the leadership of the development of the Arab media industry according to an integrated vision.
The program is launched during the first week, with eight constituent units that put the participants on the correct professional path since the first day, starting with the unit of “coordination and the target audience”, then the “Strategy Strategy Preparing” unit, followed by the “post -production” unit, and the training program deepens in the “Podcast ID Design” unit, then in the “hosting and distribution unit” and the program allocates the “Marketing Strategy” unit, in addition to the “income achievement unit”, then The founding phase concludes with the “understanding of analyzes” unit.
During the second week, the participants will implement an applied podcast project that embodies what they learned in the previous units, so that these projects will be presented to a specialized evaluation committee, on which the results of qualification for the second advanced stage of the program are built.

The fourth week includes a specialized practical session offered by the Poddster Production and Distribution Company, and allows participants a direct experience within a professional studio with integrated technical and guidance support to convert the participants ’projects into ready -made podcasts for publication, using professional production tools and technologies within specialized studios, under the supervision of experts from the sector.
The program concludes its fifth week with a number of practical and applied sessions, starting by Khaled Abu Jabin in the session of “Bodkster’s confessions: failures, solutions and lessons benefiting”, reviewing the most prominent challenges facing content makers while providing practical solutions to maintain the continuation of production.
At the end of the program, the Dubai Press Club will organize a special session for graduates of the first edition of the “Arab Podcast Program”, during which they talk about their realistic experiences in the world of podcasts, and the added value that the program contributed to adding to their career as audio content makers, and enabling them to enter this unique world with distinctive Arabic ideas and content.
