Al -Ahly joins the list of “9 teams deposited for the World Cup 2025”

The Egyptian Al-Ahly and Porto and Porto teams joined the list of teams that bid farewell to the 2025 Club World Cup, after they tied at dawn today (4-4), in the meeting that brought them together in the third round of the first group, in the championship group league currently held in the United States of America, which will continue until July 14.

With their exit, the number of teams that officially left the championship increased to nine teams, including three Arab teams, namely: Al -Ahly, the Egyptian Wydad, and the Emirati eye. Wydad and Al Ain had called the championship early at the end of the second round, after they were in the seventh group.

Arab hopes remain suspended on the Tunisian Esperance and the Saudi Crescent, as they must win in the last round, and wait for other results in their favor to ensure qualification for the final price (round of 16).

The tournament witnessed the exit of prominent teams from other continents, as Auckland City bid farewell to the New Zealand (Oceania representative) the competitions early, after receiving two harsh defeats, and receiving 16 goals in two games, against Bayern Munich and Benfica Portuguese within the third group.

He also bid farewell to Asia representatives, Urawa Reed Diamonds, and Olsan Hyundai, the South Korean, the championship from the second round, after they failed to achieve any point in their fifth and sixth group.
They joined them with the same scenario, representing North America: Los Angeles, American and Mexican Pachuka, who left the competitions without points in the fourth and eighth groups.
