On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, participated in the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Union, which was held today at the Independence Palace in the Belarusian capital, Minsk.

The meeting witnessed an expanded meeting of leaders and heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union, headed by the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, and with the participation of the United Arab Emirates as a guest of honor, in addition to the leaders of the countries invited to participate in the work of the Supreme Economic Summit of the leaders of the Eurasian Union: Uzbekistan, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Zimbabwe and Myanmar.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan delivered the speech of the UAE during the Supreme Economic Summit of the leaders of the Eurasian Union countries, through which he conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to the heads and leaders of the countries participating in the summit work, and his wishes for the summit for success and success, and the countries and peoples of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union prosperity and prosperity.

His Highness also thanked Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, for the good reception and hospitality, and for his invitation to the UAE to participate in the Eurasian Economic Union summit hosted by his country.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen friendship relations with the Eurasian Economic Union countries, and to upgrade them to new horizons of prosperity and joint economic growth, in order to achieve common interests and create more commercial and investment opportunities for both sides.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, leaders and heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union witnessed the exchange of the economic partnership agreement between the UAE and the Eurasian Economic Union, which aims to facilitate the movement of inter -trade and open new horizons of cooperation in vital sectors that include renewable energy, logistical services, construction and construction services.

His Highness stressed that this agreement is an important station in the path of relations between the UAE and the Eurasian Economic Union countries, and a motivation towards continuing to increase the volume of trade exchange and open new horizons for economic cooperation.

His Highness pointed out that the UAE is looking forward, through the Economic Partnership Agreement, to enhance cooperation between the business community, investors and entrepreneurs in the country and the countries of the Union, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of strong economic ties, and at the same time reflects the depth of friendship and constructive cooperation that brings together the state and the member states of the Union.

The agreement is expected to contribute to enhancing cooperation with the private sector, strengthening supply chains, enabling entrepreneurs and small and medium -sized businesses to expand their business at the global level, and to enhance the process of economic cooperation between the two sides over the past years, after the non -oil bilateral trade between the UAE and the Eurasian Economic Union countries achieved a remarkable growth of 27% in 2024, to reach 29 billion US dollars, while the volume of trade exchange increased Between the two parties, an increase exceeded four times compared to 2021.

The economic partnership agreement was signed by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade; Meh Gregory, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia; Natalia Pitcivich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus; Serik Jomargin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy in Kazakhstan; Danar Amanjeldev, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan; Alexei Overchuk, Russian Deputy Prime Minister; Bakjan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eu -Economic Committee.
