30.42 million barrels of Japan’s total oil from the UAE during May

Tokyo on June 30/ WAM/ Japan’s total oil imports from the United Arab Emirates amounted to 30.42 million barrels last May, representing 40.8% of its total imports.

The “Natural Resources and Energy Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in a statement that the total imports of Japan oil last May amounted to 74.61 million barrels of oil imported from Arab countries 90.9%, equivalent to 67.81 million barrels, which shows the importance of Arab countries for Japanese energy security.
