release "Ras Al Khaimah Network for Women" To enable it and celebrate its pioneering roles

Ras Al Khaimah on July 2 / WAM / Ras Al Khaimah organized the “Ras Al Khaimah Network for Women” event under the title: “Wes- Women in Power and Enabling”, to empower women, enhance communication between women, and celebrate their pioneering roles, in the presence of fifty leaders.

The event included inspiring discussion sessions, one of which dealt with the issue of “women in leadership”.
The first version of the “Wise” network, launched by the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al -Khaimah, is a platform dedicated to supporting women in institutions, companies and its affiliated parties, enhancing the presence of women leaders, and providing a stimulating environment for communication and exchanging experiences, which contributes to achieving a sustainable positive impact based on interaction and participation.
The event was held in the Movenpick Resort – Al -Marjan Island, with the aim of building an interconnected society, providing opportunities for professional guidance and development, and developing leadership skills, in a way that enhances the presence and impact of women in the fields of work and life.

His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al -Qadi, Managing Director of the Investment and Development Office, said that the launch of the “Ras Al Khaimah Network for Women” is a pivotal step within the efforts of the office to build a more comprehensive and accumulated society, estimated the role of women and supports their career, based on belief that it was and still is an active element in drawing the features of the future of the emirate, explaining that the “network” provides a real opportunity for growth, progress and leadership in various fields.
He added that this event expresses the commitment of the Investment and Development Office to Ras Al -Khaimah, to create a supportive environment to enhance dialogue, guidance and opportunities, to ensure empowerment of women in all institutions, companies, and its affiliated parties, and encouraging them to play leadership roles, indicating that empowering women is a direct investment in the future of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and in their ability to innovate, success, and prosperity in the long run.
The event witnessed the participation of a group of women leaders from inside and outside the emirate, in addition to organizing a discussion session in which Sherry de Salvio, Vice President for Continuous Planning and Strategic Initiatives in the “Wayne Marjan Island” resort, and Mandy Van de Field, first deputy president to invest in the Investment and Development Office, and Dr. Alida Schultz, CEO of Financial Affairs in the Authority of Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones “Rakzz”, It was managed by Dr. Lina Al -Marsani, Senior Director at the PWC Academy.
The event is scheduled to expand to include a broader segment of women, under the supervision of prominent women leaders who take the roles of guidance and guidance, as part of a comprehensive vision to build a more balanced and empowering society.
