Travel and emergency disease do not give the student the right to perform the tests “remotely”

The Ministry of Education announced the allocation of a special committee for students with emergency and temporary conditions within the country during the repetition tests for the third semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

Conditions
The Ministry stressed that emergency and temporary conditions within the state and family travel for the purpose of tourism are not a reason for the student to perform the tests “remotely”.

Specific exceptions
She said that the performance of repeated tests “from a dimension” is available in specific exceptional cases according to strict controls, stressing that emergency and temporary conditions within the state are not justified to perform the test remotely, as coordination with the guardian is done to allocate a special committee within the school, under medical supervision, allowing the student to perform the test in attendance.

An acceptable cause
The Ministry stressed that traveling for the purposes of tourism or family holidays is not considered an acceptable reason to provide the test from a distance, noting that any unjustified change will be recorded as an absence without an excuse, and the student will not have the opportunity to re -test.

Integrity tests
The ministry confirmed that it will not accept the addition of any new exceptional cases outside what has been identified, in order to preserve the integrity of the tests and ensure equal opportunities between students.

Ensure commitment
The Ministry called on parents to ensure that students commit to attending at the time specified for the tests, and note that unjustified absenteeism will be counted as an absence without an excuse, warning that the student will not give a new opportunity to perform the test if he is absent without a certified justification.

Five cases
On the other hand, the ministry clarified that the performance of the repetition test is only available in five exceptional cases, most notably students who receive treatment outside the state, as well as accompanying them, provided that an accredited medical report and an official benefit confirm the reception of treatment during the test period.

Remedy
Exceptions include students under treatment within the state for chronic and continuous conditions throughout the year, who are unable to attend the school, provided that an accredited medical report or an official statement proving this, and the approval of the relevant sector.

Events and activities
The exceptions included. Students who are officially delegated from accredited authorities to participate in activities or activities outside the state, and students of the events and care centers whose circumstances are transformed without being in the school, as well as students from those who have anxiety who call for their health or physical condition to perform the test.

Important notes
The Ministry pointed to a number of important organizational notes, among them that the entry ticket (B) is dedicated to the testing of the test in the school, while the (C) ticket is used for distance examiners, whether inside or outside the country.

Organizational
It was also noteworthy that the entry ticket for the test (C) is not directly delivered, but is activated 30 minutes after the start of the test time, in an organizational procedure aimed at controlling the process and ensuring credibility in performance.

These procedures come within the ministry’s policy aimed at controlling and organizing the evaluation mechanism, ensuring the credibility of the educational process, and achieving justice among all students in performing repetition tests.
