Dubai Charity supports children of needy families
Dubai, August 20 / WAM / The Dubai Charity Association organized a community initiative to support the children of needy families, especially orphans, on the occasion of the International Day of Humanitarian Action, which included distributing school bags and the school year supplies to children with the aim of reducing financial burdens on the shoulders of these families and ensuring a successful and happy start for their children in the new academic year.
The initiative that carried the slogan “Humanity brings us together to serve our society” was launched at the Celebration Hall at the headquarters of the association, in the presence of Eng. Adel Al -Suwaidi, a member of the board of directors, the secretary of the fund and the director of operations at the association, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al -Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Association, a group of directors of departments, senior citizens, a large number of children and their families who expressed their happiness to participate.
The initiative gave the children a unique and fun shopping experience, as the children were taken to a stationery exhibition held in the celebration hall, where they were received by shelves full of various options of bags, books, pens and all the supplies of the new academic year.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al -Suwaidi, the association’s executive director, said that the initiative embodies the association’s commitment to provide support in a dignified and humanitarian way that contributes to building a better future for our children, expressing his thanks to everyone who contributed to its success from the donors and good partners.
