The French Minister of Transport criticizes the strike of air traffic monitors and describes it as"Unacceptable"

Paris on July 4/ WAM/ French Transport Minister Philip Tabaro criticized the strike carried out by a number of air traffic monitors on Thursday and Friday, describing him as “unacceptable” and confirmed his rejection of what he described as “blackmail”.
The French minister said in statements to him that the strike included a limited number of employees, noting that only 272 people in France have disrupted the lives of hundreds of thousands of travelers, which cannot be accepted in any way.
Tabaro stressed his intention to deal firmly with such protest moves, and said: “I will not be strained for pressure, and this has been proven during previous strikes, especially those carried out by the railway workers.” He pointed out that the majority of air traffic monitors did not participate in the strike.
It is noteworthy that the strike came at the invitation of only two unions, namely Usa-nicna and USAC-CGT, while the National Air traffic monitors (SNCTA), the largest representative in the sector, declined to participate in it.
The strike resulted in the cancellation of hundreds of flights and caused major disturbances in the French air navigation movement during the peak of the summer travel season.
