Abu Dhabi, July 7 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Government Services platform “Tam”, which was developed by the Government Empowerment Department – Abu Dhabi in cooperation with government agencies in the emirate, won the award for the best project in the World Summit Awards for the Information Society 2025 for the e -government category, which is organized with the support of the United Nations Organization.
The award was presented during a ceremony held in the Swiss city of Geneva today.

Winning this award confirms the pioneering position that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the field of government services backed by artificial intelligence, digital excellence worldwide, embody success in achieving the vision of the government empowerment circle – Abu Dhabi towards the future government, and its mission in providing a distinguished experience through innovative services and unique solutions that promote the quality of life and contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development.
The Government Empowerment Department – Abu Dhabi has developed the assistant of artificial intelligence in the “Tam” platform, in cooperation with more than 40 government agencies in the emirate, and is one of the leading projects within the march of digital transformation led by the department, within the framework of the “Abu Dhabi Digital Government Strategy 2025-2027” that aims to achieve a government that relies entirely on artificial intelligence by 2027.
The victory of the artificial intelligence assistant in the “Tam” platform for the award for the best project for the e -government category in the world within the World Summit Awards for the Information Society 2025, in recognition of its active role in supporting the efforts of the United Nations to enhance the use of information and communications technology in development and achieve its sustainable goals.

Since its launch in October 2024, the assistant has interacted with more than 700 thousand conversations, more than 1.4 million were ranked independently, and more than 1,100 services have provided dealers in more than 90 languages, in an achievement that is the first of its kind in the world, as it is not limited to the use of artificial intelligence to answer and interact with inquiries, but also includes providing all services through interactive artificial intelligence.
His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al -Kitab, Head of the Government Empowerment Department – Abu Dhabi, said that this global appreciation reflects the strategic approach of the government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in harnessing technology and artificial intelligence to raise productivity, efficiency and effectiveness, adding that technology is not the goal, but rather the means to empower and serve human, and achieve sustainable development goals.

He added that the platform “Tam” has become a leading global model in the field of government digital services backed by artificial intelligence, and an inspiring success story in building a smart government service system that puts people at the heart of the development process, pointing to the success of the work teams, in cooperation with government agencies in the emirate, in employing technology and innovation to meet the requirements and changes for citizens, residents, companies and visitors.

He stressed that the World Information Society Award 2025 represents a new incentive to continue to push the digital agenda of Abu Dhabi towards the future government that relies entirely on artificial intelligence, and provides a unique model that redefines the government experience.
For his part, His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al -Muhairi, Commander -in -Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said that the platform “has been promised” is one of the leading digital tools in developing smart police services, as it contributed to the automation of many procedures using artificial intelligence technologies, which contributed to providing thousands of daily working hours, and accelerating the provision of services to customers efficiently and reliably.

He added that this transformation reflects the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police to provide innovative proactive services that contribute to enhancing the quality of society’s life, through the optimal use of resources and modern technologies, in line with the police’s vision in sustaining a sense of security and safety in the emirate, and achieving a police institutional leadership that looks forward to the future, and that this international appreciation embodies the vision of rational leadership in harnessing emerging technology as one of the main engines to enhance protection and service provided to community members.
His Excellency Muhammad Ali Al -Shurafa, head of the Municipalities and Transport Department, said that the platform “has been” dynamically contributes to achieving the vision of the circle towards the future; It provides ease and pre -emptive support for citizens and residents when registering the sale of a property and renewing licenses, which made the procedures that took days and weeks were implemented within minutes.

He pointed out that the platform “Dat” included 3.3 million users obtaining advanced personal support at any time, which made it a success story with a privilege of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and a strategic project with great global attention.
His Excellency Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Head of the Health Department – Abu Dhabi, said that the platform “Dat” plays a pivotal role in converting Abu Dhabi’s vision to develop one of the most intelligent health systems in the world, supported by artificial intelligence, its preventive axis, and is designed to provide large -scale health solutions, into reality, by creating a qualitative shift in how to access and use health services.
