The UAE saves the crew of a British ship targeted in the Red Sea

The UAE announced that the “Sven Prazim” ship of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group has immediately responded to a distress call issued by the Magic Seas that raises the British flag, after being targeted in the waters of the Red Sea, which resulted in the damage of its structure, which led its crew to abandon it in difficult naval conditions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that the Emirati response process resulted in the rescue of all 22 members of the ship’s crew, including the crew and security of the ship, in full coordination with the competent marine authorities, including the UK’s Maritime Transport Authority (UKMTO), and the relevant international organizations, and taking into account the highest safety and response standards in such emergency cases.
This rapid move embodies the UAE’s commitment to support the security and safety of international navigation, and human solidarity with all countries, in facing the increasing challenges in strategic waterways.
