The Head of State and the sheikhs witness a national session on the fourth anniversary of the “Day of Resolve”

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, witnessed the national session held on the fourth anniversary of the Day of Resolve, in which the strength and cohesion of the UAE society of citizens and residents was highlighted, following the terrorist targeting that the country was subjected to on January 17, 2022.

The session was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Rashid. The group, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.

A number of leaders and officials of relevant military and civilian institutions participated in the session, who spoke about the model of societal cohesion that was evident in the UAE and that the challenges only increased society’s cohesion, cooperation, and rally around its leadership.

The session highlighted the cohesion of the UAE society, which is the first line of defense as a basic pillar in facing challenges and preserving gains… in addition to confirming the extent of the country’s societal and security readiness at various levels in light of various challenges.

Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, said during his participation in the session, “It is a day in which the nation, with its loyal men, stood tall in the face of aggression, determined to move forward on the path of progress and prosperity. A day in which the meanings of loyalty, belonging, and duty were embodied, and the strength and determination of the men who responded to the call of the nation was highlighted. In it, we recall the stories of heroism written by the members of the armed forces.”
