Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi chairs a meeting "Sharjah executive"

Sharjah, July 8 / WAM / The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah held a meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

During its meeting held in the office of His Highness the Governor, the Council discussed a set of general issues related to the functioning of government work, discussing the general policies of government departments and bodies, and its role in achieving the vision and strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The council issued a decision regarding the regulation of the percentage of exemption from traffic violations in the Emirate of Sharjah, whereby the perpetrators of traffic violations are exempted if they pay within 60 days of the commission of the violation by 35%, provided that the exemption scope includes the financial fine, the period of reservation, the vehicle reservation allowance and the full fine of the delay, if any, and an exemption is applied by 25% after the lapse of 60 days of committing the violation and before the passage of a year of committing it, The scope of exemption is the financial fine only.

The decision also guarantees the grave traffic violations that the exemption does not apply.

The Council approved the exemption of a group of entrepreneurial projects supported by the Sharjah Foundation to support entrepreneurial projects “Rawad” from half of the fees of government agencies for a period of two years; The new batch includes 88 projects of different economic activities and priority sectors distributed over all cities and regions of the emirate.
