Hamdan bin Zayed receives a president "Islamic affairs, endowments and zakat"

Abu Dhabi, July 8 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al -Dhafra region, received His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and his accompanying delegation, at Al Seef Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting came within the framework of the rational leadership’s keenness to follow up on the achievements and plans that contribute to developing community services.

During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the most prominent projects and strategy of the authority in caring for mosques and developing its services, as well as its efforts in spreading Islamic culture, enhancing societal awareness, and consolidating the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence.
His Highness praised the great support that the authority has received from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Highness was keen to enable it to perform its religious and national mission, and to enhance its efforts in serving society and spreading the noble human values ​​on which the UAE is based.
The Authority’s efforts were also reviewed in the management of endowment affairs, the development of the Holy Quran Memorization Centers and the service of the Book of God, in addition to its activities in the Al Dhafra region and their contribution to national, societal and cultural activities.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al -Mansoori, Undersecretary of the Court of the Ruler’s representative in the Al -Dhafra region, His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al -Neyadi, Director General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and a number of officials.
