Production starting in a factory expansion project "Specro Aloise" The UAE of Aluminum in the United States

Abu Dhabi, July 9 / WAM / Emirates International Aluminum Company announced today the start of production in the expansion project of the “Specro Aloise” for its aluminum recycling in Minnesota, USA.
The project contributes to increasing the production of secondary aluminum at a rate of 55 thousand tons in its first stage, and it is expected to reach the full production capacity by the first quarter of the year 2026, and the project also raises the total production capacity of the “Specro Ilis” factory of the Emirates International Aluminum Company to 165 thousand tons annually of recycled aluminum, which will be marketed under the brand “Riveval” of products Recycled aluminum for the Emirates International Aluminum Company.
The project also contributes to raising the production capacity of the Emirates International Aluminum Company from recycled aluminum to 195 thousand tons annually, through its factories in the United States and Germany.
The UAE International Aluminum is currently continuing the construction of the largest aluminum recycling factory in the Tawila region of the UAE with a production capacity of 170 thousand tons annually from aluminum cylinders, and it is expected to start operational operations in the first half of the year 2026.
Abdel Nasser Bin Kalban, CEO of Emirates International Aluminum Company, said that the start of production in the expansion project of the company’s Specro Aloise factory, represents a prominent station in our march towards strengthening our global business in the field of aluminum recycling and our commitment to meet the growing demand for low carbon metal.
He added that this achievement is an important step within the framework of the ambitious company’s plan to enhance its business in the American market, which is one of the largest global markets, as the UAE for aluminum continues to implement its project to build a first aluminum production factory in Oklahoma.
The United States is the second largest recycled aluminum market in the world, and it is expected that the recycled aluminum demand in the United States will reach 7.6 million tons annually by 2033, according to the independent CRU, which specializes in corporate research and data.
In Oklahoma, the Emirates International Aluminum Company plans to build the first first aluminum production plant in the United States since 1980, and the production capacity of the factory is expected to reach 600,000 tons of aluminum initial annually, equivalent to twice the total gross domestic aluminum production in the United States now.
