The Sharjah Youth Council reviewed an integrated list that includes the most prominent educational opportunities and scholarships available within the UAE, specially addressed to students and youth seeking to build a sustainable and distinguished future in various vital sectors.

The list includes more than 12 educational and professional opportunities in prestigious institutions in the country, which vary between university studies programs, specialized training, grants for those wishing to work in the fields of aviation, medicine, engineering, information technology, technical services, and other specializations required in the national labor market.
Educational and professional opportunities
Among the most prominent programs mentioned in the list seen by “Emirates Today”:
• Emirates Faculty of Airlines (EFTA), which allows students to obtain a commercial flight license (ATPL) to become qualified pilots.
• The Air Monitoring Program in Abu Dhabi (ATC) of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, designed to qualify national competencies to work in the Air traffic department.
• Sco for studying in private universities within the country, which opens wide educational prospects for high school holders.
• TDRA grant specialized in the fields of engineering and computer science with the support of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the digital government.
• ADNOC Technical Academy, which provides a specialized diploma program, while ensuring employment as a technician in the energy sector.
• ADIA grant for excelling in mathematics and computer science, which is one of the qualitative initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Investment Fund.
The initiative also included distinct grants from Emirates Airlines, Dubai Health Authority, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) and Emirates Steel Grant, which open irregularly according to the needs of the market.
Continuous recommendations and follow -up
The Council called on students and parents to follow up on the official platforms constantly, indicating that some programs are opened for short periods and may be closed without an expanded announcement. The Council also noted the importance of taking advantage of the annual opportunities that include:
• Granting the Police College
Military colleges programs
• “Massar” program for nursing
• “Emirati paramedic” program
Building a national future
At the end of the announcement, the Council affirmed that this step comes as a translation of the UAE’s vision of empowering young people and their rehabilitation to be pioneers in various vital sectors, and invited them to benefit from these pioneering initiatives that combine qualitative education and actual professional qualification, in a way that contributes to building national competencies that lead the future of the state with confidence and competence.
