Wholesale prices in Japan decreased by 0.2% during June

Tokyo on July 10 / WAM / Central Bank of Japan’s data on Thursday showed that the prices of (wholesale) in Japan decreased by 0.2% per month during the past month.
This came in agreement with analysts’ expectations, after prices decreased during May by 0.1%, according to modified data, at 0.2%, according to initial data.
On an annual basis, wholesale prices in Japan increased during June by 2.9%, which also came in agreement with analysts’ expectations after increasing 3.3%, according to modified data, by 3.2%, according to initial data during the previous month. Japan’s exports prices increased during June by 0.1% per month and decreased by 1.6% annually, while import prices fell by 1.6% per month by 6.1% annually, according to the data of the Japanese Central Bank.
