Dubai Chamber of Commerce launches the delivery group

Dubai, July 10/ WAM/ The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced today the establishment of the Dubai Dubai Business Group with the aim of enhancing the sector’s growth and providing a unified platform representing the delivery companies operating in Dubai and supporting their interests.

The launch of the new business group comes within the efforts of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to enhance the representation of the private sector and its various sectors and economic activities. It currently operates 106 business groups that contribute to building a more flexible and prepared economy for the future.

In Dubai, the group will coordinate and cooperate regularly with government agencies and private sector companies to discuss the reality of the sector, its opportunities and challenges, explore the ways to develop policy, and support the growth of the long -term delivery services sector.

Maha Al -Qarqawi, Vice -President of the Business Society Support Sector in Dubai Chamber, said: “Delivery services in Dubai are witnessing an accelerated growth driven by digital transformation, and the increasing consumer demand for all products in conjunction with population growth, and the acceleration of the city’s urban expansion, and we will cooperate with the delivery business group in Dubai and we will help them represent the interests of companies operating in the sector and contribute effectively to its sustainable growth.”

The group will work to submit proposals to develop organizational policies in a way that contributes to enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the sector, as well as promoting international best practices and advancing the economic growth of the Emirate of Dubai and upgrading the professional standards of the sector, developing sustainable delivery solutions, encouraging fair competition, and supporting the adoption of smart technologies such as artificial intelligence, and electric vehicles to address central issues related to the luxury of cadres The worker, improving organizational frameworks, and exchanging knowledge at the sector level.
