Khorfakkan on July 11/ WAM/ Khorfakkan Club announced the disabled the adoption of the participation of 12 players in the “Generations of Tomorrow” basketball championship on the wheelchairs of Western Asian clubs, scheduled for “Ajyal Al -Ghad” club, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from 13 to 19 July.
The Khorfakkan club mission will leave for Jordan next Sunday, after a gradual preparation, and the team will play the final match of the basketball league on the wheelchairs for the sporting season 2024-2025, tomorrow against Dubai Club for People of Determination in Al -Thiqa Club for the disabled.
Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, a member of the club’s board of directors, Chairman of the Sports and Technical Affairs Committee, confirmed that the players have completed the preparations required to participate in the championship, with great aspirations that keep pace with the distinguished boom at the technical levels during the last stage.
He explained that the team will continue to prepare it during the next stage after participating in the championship, in the preparation camp in the last week of next October in the Olympic Complex in the Arab Republic of Egypt, after the successful preparation in the same complex last year, in addition to playing friendly matches, and participating in local competitions, praising at the same time the support of the Sharjah Sports Council to participate in the tournament in the championship and provide all requirements.
